Some say designer William E. Poole is a bit much on the details. We say that's a good thing. When we began planning Daybreak Square, in Greensboro, NC, we were adamant that it be the perfect village. We had the perfect setting at Lake Jeanette. We had the experience of 12 other successful villages. And we had an opportunity to create a village environment that would be absolutely extraordinary.

We asked Mr. Poole to visit Lake Jeanette and consider designing a William E. Poole signature community in Northern Shores. The rest is history. After seeing Lake Jeanette, he said, "I've looked everywhere in the Southeast and this is the place. Let's get started." Now you can see the charming and unique results of what classic design and a commitment to detail has built in Daybreak Square. As Mr. Poole puts it, "Make the place you live, the place you love."

A few of the details.

There are sidewalks on both sides of the tree-lined streets, "talking" porches, picket fences and gates, landscaping that is an inherent part of the overall design, and an entranceway that sets the stage for this nostalgic yet new village.
